The Open

ALSTOM Edito

I am delighted that ALSTOM has had the opportunity to associate its name with such a prestigious sporting event as the Open de France golf tournament.

Our knowledge, capacity for innovation and desire to win are demonstrated each day in commercial competition. It was natural that ALSTOM would look to build up its image by entering a world where the word « competition » is just as demanding : that of top-level sport.

The values of golf, which I know personally, are absolutely compatible with the values here at ALSTOM. Precision, power and speed are the qualities of great champions. These qualities are ours also, with the precision of our high-performance technologies, the power of our power generation equipment and the speed of our trains. Golf is also a sport that attaches great importance to environmental protection, which our company works towards every day. In short, ALSTOM and its customers feel at home in the world of golf!

Alongside our partners, it is our ambition to raise the Open de France ALSTOM in the rankings of the great international golf tournaments. I will support and share this challenge with passion!
